It was a packed house at Bnei Akiva of Chicago’s annual Yom Ha’atzmaut celebration in honor of the 64th anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel. Hundreds of people from the Chicago Jewish Community came out to celebrate and show their support. The event took place at Skokie Valley Agudath Jacob Synagogue. The evening began with a ceremony commemorating Yom HaZikaron, a meaningful talk from HaRav Gedalia Dov Schwartz, shlita, and a special prayer service for the holiday. The event continued with the dinner and dancing featuring the Key Tov Orchestra. There were two full dance sets with lots of energy, Ruach, and spirited dancing. A great time was had by all. L’shana Habah B’Yerushalayim.
